Hi, and welcome to my Self-Care Coaching page!
Back in July, I published my book, 20 Self-Care Habits, as a compilation of strategies, skills, resources and other things that have worked well in my own life first, and in the people I’ve helped in my years of practising counselling.
The main focus of my self-care book and coaching sessions revolves around setting clear boundaries and learning how to meet our own needs.
It all started with my own journey of self-care, setting boundaries and being assertive and proactive in meeting my own needs, but it’s become so much more than that!
As I wrote my blog posts on self-care, and as I wrote each chapter of my book, as well as learning about setting up a niche for my practice, I realised that there is a thread in the work I do in my sessions with many – if not all – of my clients, at a greater or lesser degree.
It sounds so simple, but it’s so hard for us humans to break our patterns and start looking after ourselves in a different way.
It takes time, effort, and sometimes many attempts to achieve the things that we know will help us improve our lives, be happier within ourselves and our relationships.
It is for this reason that I’ve decided to offer this service – coaching sessions to support your own self-care journey.
There will be elements from the book, and other elements that will support your self-care journey in a practical way, at your own pace.
It is a mindset change, but it is one that will last a lifetime.
